Every edition of the Sunday Sessions, we open the bar, mellow sounds will permeate the space, and each time we will have a varying program.
Orb Weaver—David Mitchell, Robbert van Hulzen and Lorenzo Servali—create long-form improvisations shaped by influences like The Necks, Jeff Parker’s ETA IVtet and David Torn.
Their monthly residency continues on February 6 with trumpeter Gijs Levelt (Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Spinifex), known for his trumpet work. Expect trippy sounds from Oost’s evolving scene.

Expect two violas, two shruti boxes, two voices, many magnets, live electronics and whatever sonifiers catch their ears and eyes.
On the 27th of February, we organize a traditional Iftar @GROND from 17:30 till 21:00. Join us to break the fast of Ramadan for a delicious Sudanese Iftar prepared by Mohamed Alnoor. Everyone is welcome to join and experience the togetherness and tastes of Ramadan.
