We’re looking back on 15 years filled with countless exhibitions, projects and collaborations. It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. Over the years, Framer Framed has developed alongside a broader shift in which long-held ideas about the autonomy of art, the neutrality of exhibition spaces and the dominance of Western art history have been increasingly questioned. In response, new ways of working have taken shape, centred on collaboration and a multiplicity of perspectives.
To mark this anniversary, we’re launching Notes to Other Futures (2026), a 324-page anthology that looks ahead to futures rooted in solidarity and collaboration, while reflecting on how a cultural organisation can continue to evolve in close connection with society.
The launch will take place during a celebratory book fair on 23 May 2026 from 11:00 to 20:00 at Framer Framed, alongside presentations from artists, activists and independent publishers who contribute to a rich culture of subversive publishing.
We’d love for you to join us in celebrating this moment!

The project kick-off will take place at Framer Framed on 1 May 2026 from 14:00 to 17:00.
