Grond member David Mitchell presents his new solo album Natural Light. The album is an exploration of the interaction of light and memory, looking at how qualities of light evoke memories both specific and universal.
Lokhipster presents its debut album Protect, experimental songcraft, krautrock, free jazz and illbient. Rooted in five continents, the musical alchemists of Amsterdam based band Lokhipster come from all corners of the music world.
This time we invite ceramic artist Su Melo and sound artist iulia aionesi to our ambient space at GROND. You can expect moving clay sculptures and a music set featuring field recordings—alongside a crafting station to experiment with air dry clay!
Grond’s resident ambient jazz transgressors Orb Weaver welcome Chennai-based saxophonist and composer Maarten Visser. With David Mitchell (guitar, electronics), Robbert van Hulzen (drums) and Lorenzo Servali (bass, electronics), expect long form improvisations with absolutely no respect for tradition.
