Over the years, we've welcomed many different people into our community, enough to teach us one important lesson: people come in all shapes and sizes, and there's a place for everyone here at Treehouse. We've always opened our doors to all people, without any prejudices. Every person has a right to exist, and this summer, we celebrate that right to the fullest.
We invite you to visit our Pride-special exhibition ‘Queertropolis’. Our electronic music event ‘Night At Our Place’ will also become part of the exhibition: we've organised a special program that includes not only music but also performances, workshops, and even tattoo artists with Pride-inspired flash designs.
QUEERTROPOLIS: PRIDE EXPO
Queertropolis (24 July - 9 Aug) is more than an exhibition; it is an exploration of a queer urban utopia. In the industrial heart of NDSM, we are building a symbolic city designed for resilience, collective identity, and radical imagination. Join us for the grand opening on July 24 at 18H!
As Amsterdam celebrates WorldPride 2026, Queertropolis stands as a sanctuary where the boundaries between digital and physical, individual and community, disappear. It is a space where artists and visitors co-create the foundations of a city where everyone is a citizen, and every "Queer Icon" is celebrated.
THE EXHIBITION IS ACCOMPANIED BY THE SIDE PROGRAMMING:
The exhibition also includes a digital exhibition: a public-facing digital gallery in the Treehouse windows. This serves as a "teaser" and a permanent digital inhabitant of NDSM, showcasing loops, stills, and videos that announce the arrival of Queertropolis.
For our third edition on July 31st, we're turning up the color and celebrating Pride with a very special lineup. Rave Radar has curated an exciting selection of DJs and electronic live acts from their LGBTQ+ community, joined by incredible performers from Treehouse NDSM and a very special guest from Germany: the fabulous drag collective Samt und Seuche.
The festivities kick off early with a unique chance to get inked by one of our three resident tattoo artists. They'll be offering exclusive PRIDE-inspired flash tattoos, starting from just €80. Come early to register and get the change to be tattooed.

Nevera Soundsystem and TitsOut4Snacks is gathering together once again to share food and make melodies in this session at Treehouse NDSM. Everyone is encouraged to join in and use the space as an opportunity to play. Music lovers are also welcomed to listen and have a bite!

In this workshop, children will meet the major figures of the tarot deck and invent their backstories, explore four symbolic 'worlds' that map to different kinds of narratives, and work individually and in small groups to build and share their own three-card stories. They'll leave with a mini personal card booklet and a simple creative practice to keep the storytelling going at home.
A whole week of working on the connection between body, energy, and material, drawing from centuries-old artistic practices. Black ink and Eastern brushes are more than just tools; they are part of a way of working in which attention, practice, and mastery take center stage.

Guided by a bench jeweller with over 4 years of experience, you will learn how to sculpt, file, and refine your first ring design using the traditional lost-wax technique. During this 3,5-hour session, you will have ample time to experiment with the material and perfect one or more wax models.

Visit a solo exhibition by Norwegian artist Rika Maja Duevel that explores the unfolding process of becoming. Through an introverted lens, the work examines the quiet terrain between vision and reality - the space where ideas emerge, evolve, falter, and are rebuilt. The exhibition is open on 9 July in BounceSpace, Overtoom 141.
In this workshop, our friends Simone de Jong and Judith Borgers will create theatre in small groups, drawing inspiration from locations / places. The workshop takes place 10 - 12 August at 10H - 14:30 in Pick-up Studio, NDSM warehouse.
