Updated dNM mural open call
It took some time but the new open call for a mural at the housing cooperative de Nieuwe Meent is back online with a revised application and selection process. The new deadline is 15 September 2026. The mural is a project by dNM in collaboration with If I Can't Dance, de Appel and Framer Framed. The full open call can be found here.
Looking for two new Supervisory Board members
As the terms of two current members have come to an end, we are seeking two new members to join our Supervisory Board. Applications are open until 1 September 2026. More information about the roles, the application process, and the selection procedure can be found here.
Save the dates
Right after the summer break, on August 28, we are hosting Nicoline van Harskamp's performance Prosodia, part of the 2026 International Association of Word and Image Studies triennial conference Word, Image and Social Dynamics.
Our Body as Memory programme resumes on September 16 with a screening of Crisis Acres by Tom K. Kemp, followed by a discussion. Set in a fictional NHS hospital, the film integrates role-playing, improvisation and filmmaking to simulate the failures of the health-care system in neoliberal contexts.
On 25 September, we continue with an event celebrating Rossella Biscotti's decade-long project The Trial, which has now been published as a book. Presented in collaboration with the Rijksakademie, the event features a conversation with philosopher Aaron Schuster and a performative reading.
In closing, we wanted to thank everyone who joined us for Josephine Sales' and yasmine eid-sabbagh's projects. It's been a beautiful and inspiring summer season, and we look forward to welcoming you back to our space in September.
